Tzum 2019 Oak Ridge "Spring Ephemeral" Magnum
Oak Ridge is the Northern most vineyard in the Columbia Gorge. It was planted in the mid 80’s at 1400 feet, in ashy loam, on a ridge 23 miles South of Mt. Adams. The site is farmed Biodynamically with monastic dedication by Thomas and Marlene Woodward. The wine we make is from a one-acre parcel of Pinot Noir, located mid-slope on the west side of the site. This is always the most delicate of the red wines we make, pale, with an ethereal texture and aroma that reflect its Alpine origin.
